Sign Petition…….

To Support The Prevention Of Animal Farm Cruelty Act.

When a dairy cow gives birth to a male, that baby calf is immediately taken from his mother and put in a veal crate: a small box just 24 inches across, where he will try to kick, scratch, and toss his head until his bones are sufficiently weakened. The Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act  , H.R. 4733 would require the government to purchase food for its programs and agencies only from farms where animals can move freely and extend their limbs — no veal crates, gestation crates, or battery cages.

The government spends over 1 billion dollars a year, including money from your tax dollars, feeding its programs and agencies such as the National School Lunch Program. A bill of this stature would be a huge victory for animal welfare. Show agribusiness that America cares about its farmed animals: tell Congress to Support H.R. 4733, and end the use of gestation crates, veal crates, and battery cages in the U.S.»
