Banana/Chocolate Ice Cream/Frozen Pudding

I love finding healthy solutions to satisfy our need for sweets. When it’s hot out, the kids always want something cold and sweet when they come inside and juice/smoothie pops have already worn out their welcome.

This dessert/snack is full of iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. I’m actually hoping they ask for it because it’s so good for them, and of course they do because it’s delicious!

It only takes about 2 minutes to make so you might want to give this one a shot.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup hemp milk (or other non dairy milk, but hemp has tons of calcium)

2 Frozen Bananas

1 Tbls Raw Cacao Powder (high in antioxidants, iron, and magnesium)

2 Tsp Coconut Palm Sugar (less than 40 calories, and unlike sugar, it’s low in the glycemic index)

Directions:

Blend all the ingredients and serve immediately.
